Background \/ Purpose of the TOR <\/p> The company is expanding its business in solar PV plant installation. To strengthen the team, the company is seeking a solar installation engineer capable of reviewing project\ndesign, performing an efficient project execution plan that ensures safety &\nprofitability and ensuring installation quality & alignment with the company <\/strong> quality \nguidelines. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n 3. Purpose of the Role <\/p> To ensure the safe and efficient installation & maintenance of PV plants while maintaining the company quality guidelines.<\/p>\n\n 4. Scope of Work <\/p>\n\nManage & execute the company\u2019s process for solar PV plant installation.\nSolar PV plant design review.\nDevelop project execution & maintenance plans according to the project budget.\nSite management includes material delivery from the warehouses & factory to site and the safe return of company assets to the warehouse.\nInstallation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of solar PV plants and their components.\nHandle, maintain & update all project documentation including reports & drawings.\nTroubleshooting solar PV plants.\nImplement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.\nReport to top management upon request.\n\n\n 5. Key Responsibilities <\/p>\n\nEnsure the solar PV plant project design file is complete before field execution.\nCollaborate with the design team to handle any execution issues.\nEnsure the correct material has been safely delivered on-site.\nPreserve the company assets and ensure the company equipment, tools & material safely turn to the warehouse.\nEnsure the solar PV plant installation & commissioning are executed in accordance with the approved design file, approved budget & company quality guidelines.\nAlways ensure a safe working environment for all personnel & equipment.\nSupervise contractors and technicians during field work.\nReport regularly to the top management on quality, performance and incidents.\nSign the necessary documentation from the customer.\n\n\n 6. Deliverables <\/p>\n\nProject execution documentation including but not limited to site reports, material delivery forms, test certificates & time sheets.\nComplete project documentation.\nProject balance sheet.\nTop management reports.\n\n\n 7. Duration & Contract Type <\/p>\n\nFull-time, permanent position.\nProbation period: 3 months (per Egyptian Labor Law).\n\n\n 8. Job requirements <\/p>\n Working Experience<\/p>\n\n0-2 years\n\n Education & Certifications<\/p>\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, mechanical engineering or related field.\n\n Technical Skills <\/p>\n\nGood knowledge of renewable energy systems.\nGood knowledge of power systems.\nGood knowledge of power electronics.\nGood knowledge of health, safety & environment basics.\n\n Additional Technical Skills (any experience is a plus) <\/p>\n\nField testing & commissioning (electrical, electromechanical or solar PV).\nSystem Design (electrical, electromechanical or solar PV).\nPV system design & modeling using software like PVsyst, Helioscope, Aurora Solar or equivalent.\nAutoCAD \/ EPLAN for single-line diagrams and layouts.\nSimulation tools: PVSyst, Helioscope, Aurora Solar.\nShading analysis tools: Solmetric SunEye, drones for site surveys.\nMonitoring systems: SCADA, data loggers, inverter monitoring platforms.\nLand survey & measurements.\n\n Language Skills<\/p>\n\nFluency in Arabic & English is a must.\nFluency in additional languages is highly preferable\n\n Required Skills<\/p>\n\nLeadership, punctuality, capability of working under pressure, capability of conflict management.\nCapable of leading a team\nStrict in applying company regulations at all times and places, punctual & accurate by habit to be capable of making correct measurements and communicating effective and accurate data, reliable in executing duties without the help of superiors, determined to complete the tasks in hand with flair, capable of working at a high work rate while being consistent, high discipline & responsibility, loyal to the company, highly patient with all stakeholders, self-confident with rational well- thought decisions, focused on the job in hand, capable of predicting & assessing risks, capable of troubleshooting errors, capable of expecting problems before they occur, capable of tracing and analyzing and solving problems, capable of formulating the root cause of a problem and troubleshoot it, capable of making decisions under pressure and time constraints, capable of presenting information effectively, capable of analyzing measured data effectively, capable of identifying sources of information effectively, capable of managing projects and breaking them down to milestones and activities, capable of critical thinking, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing tasks, capable of writing technical reports, capable of developing creative ideas, capable of thinking critically to analyze research requirements, capable of filtering and identifying sources of information, capable of collecting data and managing research projects, capable of evaluating measured data and presenting it summarized and effectively, capable of formulating regular technical reports, capable of planning and scheduling tasks and thinking of products in a scalable manner.\n\n Other Requirements<\/p>\n\nWork on weekends and official holidays if required.\nTravel up to 60% of the time.\n\n\n 13.
